The City Of Rivneis a relatively small regional centre, changed over its history, many faces and roles. The heart of the city Exactly is outside the Cathedral, crossing the three main city square – Independence, Theatre and Education. Outside the Cathedral there are many shops, cultural and entertainment facilities and places for leisure and recreation, as well as a large variety of different companies and enterprises. On the area of Education is the building of the regional state administration. In Independence square, the city held events, rallies and festivals as well as concerts. Here is the city picture Palace "Ukraine", near which is a monument to Taras Shevchenko, which is the center of the square. Next to Plaza Independence located in Rivne's most famous iconic landmark – Holy resurrection Cathedral, which was founded in 1890 on charitable funds Alexander III, on the ruins of a fire temple, and consecrated in 1895. During the reign of the Soviets, it housed the Museum of atheism, but in the late twentieth century, the Cathedral was returned to the property of the Orthodox community of the city. Today in the building of the Cathedral side by side two denominations – the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate and the Ukrainian Autocephalous Church. On the Theatre square there's a monumental colonnaded building of the Rivne academic musical drama theatre, performances of which are regular participants and laureates of various festivals and contests of theatrical art not only in Ukraine but also in CIS countries. Actors working in theatre, and have many awards and titles. Here, near the theater building is a monument to the outstanding and world-famous Ukrainian writer W. A. Samchuk, who was also an active participant of the Ukrainian national liberation movement. The monument was designed in a modern style to the hundredth anniversary of the birth of this social and cultural figure. Cathedral street also intersects with the street of 16 July, which rises into the sky a Column of the Mother of God, placed here as the aspiration to the deliverer of Mora in the far 1770, the land code was gripped by a terrible plague. The monument was destroyed by the Soviet authorities, however, restored in 2003. Also in the Cathedral is a magnificent Catholic Church. Anthony, made by architect K. Wojciechowski, in neo-Gothic style with Lancet Windows, with a facade decorated with stone statues and a huge ancient clock. Starting from the Soviet times to the present, here is the House of organ music. And, of course, there is the main Church of the diocese of Rivne – 13-domed St. Basil's Cathedral, with a height of 55 m, which was founded in the late twentieth century. Via Cathedral street, crossing the river Estuary, is a Small Rovno railway, which is one of 9 existing children's Railways in
Ukraine. And also, there is a magnificent monument of garden-Park art Park of T. G. Shevchenko, decorated with statues and cascading fountains, which grow bicentennial trees belonging to our climate, and many exotic plants. In the Cathedral stands a memorial to Princess Mary of Rivne, which has invested invaluable contribution to the development Smoothly, turning it from a small village into a major city.
