The cozy village of Primorsky is part of the urban district of Feodosia on the eastern coast of the Crimean peninsula. Convenient transport links, an abundance of clean beaches, a well-established infrastructure, as well as low prices for accommodation facilities have made this place popular among lovers of budget, quiet rest, families with small children.
The Village has everything you need for a quiet, comfortable stay - inexpensive housing, catering establishments, as well as several interesting sights. But the main advantage of the resort is its spacious sandy beaches, which can be comfortably accommodated even in high season. In addition, while sunbathing or sea bathing, you can admire the picturesque panorama of the mountains opening up to the west.
A well-maintained embankment runs along the coastline. It is bordered by various cafes, discos, shops, banks and mini-markets. But it is important to take into account that many infrastructure facilities start operating during the high season and close at the onset of September. Those who come to Crimea in early summer or autumn will see Primorsky in a completely different way. Therefore, it may seem to many that life in the village is gray and boring.
However, a small number of people on the beaches will make your vacation more comfortable and secluded. And for entertainment and excursions, you can always go to Feodosia, where many attractions and institutions are open all year round.
A pleasant addition to the rest in Primorskoye will be a mild, favorable climate, which in its characteristics is similar to the Mediterranean. It is warm in summer and moderately humid in autumn.
The history of the village begins with the construction of a shipyard near the then existing village of Dalnie Kamyshi. With the development of the enterprise and the rapid industrialization of the country, near the Dalnie Kamyshi, a working quarter called Yuzhnaya Tochka arose, which quickly expanded its territory and swallowed Kamyshi themselves, turning into the village of Primorsky.
Most of the nearby attractions are of natural origin. For example, Cape Chauda is located near Primorskoe, from which breathtaking views of the coast of the peninsula open. In the village itself there is a unique salt lake Ajigol, and a few kilometers from Primorskoe you can see the real Jau Tepe volcano, which is active, but dormant.
Behind Chauda there is also a cape called Opuk. It is famous for its bizarre cliffs that resemble ship prows. That is why this place was named “The Ghosts of the Lost Ships”.
