Ponomarevka is a small regional center in the north of the Orenburg region.

Tourists rarely climb into such distances. In the digital age, there is not even a special need for this, because you can watch Ponomarevka webcams online, and get to know this wonderful land without any extra investment.
The main attraction of Ponomarevka is the local church of Our Lady of Kazan. It has a rich and interesting history. The church was built in 1817. Its construction was the gratitude of local residents for the Divine intercession in the Patriotic War of 1812.
At the time of construction, the temple was a small building with a large dome - a two-tiered bell tower. In his possessions there were 133 acres of land and a library with 213 volumes, as well as a parochial school and houses for clergy.
Until 1912, services were regularly conducted in the temple. Then it was abolished and was used as a tomb until the 30s, until, at the direction of the local authorities, the structure was completely demolished.
In 1871, based on the wishes of the parishioners of Ponomarevka and nearby villages, a wooden St. Nicholas Church was erected in the village. Later, a more capacious brick church was built, which today houses the House of Children's Creativity.

In view of the increase in the population of Ponomarevka and the surrounding settlements, in 1985 the construction of a new church began in the village.

They attracted Moscow, Samara and local builders - things went quickly. All rooms and the bell tower were decorated. In 1900 the new church was consecrated and named Kazanskaya. The structure turned out to be impressive in size - almost 23 meters long, 19 meters wide, and the total height with the bell tower is almost 39 meters.
After the revolution of 1917, the temple experienced hard times. In the 30s, the bell tower was dismantled for scrap, and 16 priests were repressed. All church premises were used for household needs.
Only in 1989, the dilapidated building of the church was transferred to the Orthodox community. Its long restoration began, in which all local entrepreneurs, collective farms and caring Christians participated. In 2000, the installation of bells and the consecration of the rebuilt church took place. It accepts everyone and today.
