Broadway in new York is "the longest roof in the world." The authors of the project of turning the train trestle in the Park, landscape architect James corner and his Bureau of Field Operations, architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro and the renowned landscape designer Piet Oudolf (Piet Oudolf), set out to preserve the nature of the flora and fauna existing on the overpass over 20 years after its closure. The excess water is discharged to storm water system. Elements Floradrain® was covered the whole surface.
The idea of the green high Line Park scattered around the world. Urban planners from Rotterdam, Hong Kong, Singapore and Jerusalem is already excited about the project. This is another argument in favor of creating gardens on the roof in public areas.
Mature, proven technology of green roofs and stylobate on the system ZinCo, opens a lot of opportunities and gives a number of advantages in use.
