The webcam is located on the territory of the Yantarny camp, which is part of the Artek international children's complex in Gurzuf (Crimea).
The lens captures a chess table in one of the camp's recreational areas. The broadcast is transmitted in real time.
For many, Gurzuf, whose webcams can be viewed on this site, is associated with the famous international camp for gifted children "Artek".
This place is well known to those who lived in the USSR and vacationed there as a pioneer. At the same time, at all times a trip to this camp was a real happiness and seemed possible only to those children who excelled in their studies, sports achievements or social activities.
Today, when the pioneer organization is long gone, Artek continues to carry the status of an international children's center and is the largest of its kind in the world.
"Artek" consists of several camps, where children of all ages from Russia and other countries have a rest. Many adults still regret that their childhood is over, but they never had a rest in this wonderful place.
But every visitor to Gurzuf has a great opportunity to visit another magical corner of the Crimea. This is the Gurzuf park, whose history begins with the 19th century.
The park was founded on the initiative of the Duke of Richelieu and today stretches for 12 hectares along the coastal area, not far from the Embankment. Its territory is conditionally divided by a natural border - the Avunda river into two parts. In the first one you can stroll, enjoying the shade of ancient trees, the scents of flowers and excellent landscape delights. The second is an entertainment environment where the most vivid impressions await guests. There is a cinema, a summer stage, sports and children's playgrounds.
The basis of the local plants were southern cypresses, pines, laurels, magnolias. There is also its own olive grove, involuntarily transferring those who walk there to the shores of Greece. It is noteworthy that the age of the olives is quite decent. However, they are still bearing fruit.
The riot of greenery and colors organically complement the fountains, which are built in abundance in the Gurzuf park. Walking along the cozy alleys, you can meet Rembrandt's Bather, Nymph, Girl with a jug on her head, Bear with cubs, Deer drinking water and many other amazing sculptural compositions. The most popular fountain is the "Goddess of the Night", illustrating a story from ancient mythology.
If there is no way to go to Crimea yet, Gurzuf webcams, which you can watch online on this site, will allow you to enjoy magnificent views of the sunny South from anywhere in the country and the world.
