Webcam in Gurzuf (Crimea) with a view of the building of the Lazurny camp, which is part of the Artek International Center complex.
In real time, you can observe what is happening on the territory of the institution. This is useful for parents, as well as anyone who wants to move to a warm resort from anywhere in the country and the world.
Gurzuf, whose webcams can be viewed in real time on this site, is a unique corner not only of Crimea, but of the entire planet.
Here, pristine nature and well-established tourist infrastructure are surprisingly intertwined. And, in addition to unique miraculous sights, there are many historical and cultural monuments created by man.
The real pearl of this cozy town is the ancient Suuk-Su Palace, which was built at the end of the century before last on the initiative of the famous engineer Vladimir Berezin.
He acquired land in Gurzuf and decided to equip it with a prestigious resort that would compete with famous foreign sanatoriums.
In the shortest possible time, the goal was achieved. Already 6 years after the start of construction, the solemn opening of the resort complex took place. However, Berezin himself, who died the day before, did not see this. Berezina's widow, Olsha Solovieva, took care of the resort park and a luxurious hotel that resembled a real palace.
The hotel in Gurzuf exceeded all expectations. This huge, 3-story building with exquisite white stone facades, decorated with columns, stucco and other stunning elements was amazing. The interior of the building, lined with mosaics, tiles, wood carvings and murals, created by Surikov himself, was not inferior to the external decor.
Since the resort area lay next to the Crimean source of Suuk-Su, the complex, without thinking twice, was named the same.
After the October Revolution, the building, along with the adjoining park, was nationalized and became a holiday home for party workers. Later, the institution turned into a pioneer camp, and during the German occupation of Crimea, a restaurant occupied a chic building. Unfortunately, during one of the Nazis' drinking bouts, the building caught fire and was completely destroyed by fire. The restoration of a unique architectural monument took place after the Victory, in the 50s of the last century. The building was practically rebuilt. After all, only the foundation remained. However, it was possible to recreate its appearance from photographs with virtually no changes.
Everyone who has a rest in Crimea should see this place.
If, for any reason, it is not possible to go there, Gurzuf webcams, which you can watch online from anywhere in the world, will allow you to enjoy stunning views by taking an exciting virtual walk.
