City Dmitrovrecently celebrated its 861-th anniversary of the founding of the Outpost by Prince Yuri Dolgoruky. Every century in the history of the city was filled with different events rapidly changing each other. On the territory of modern Dmitrov are a large number of different attractions, cultural and historical values, architectural monuments, and works of modern masters. The most famous and ancient monument considered to be remnants of the Dmitrov Kremlin, which is a ground shaft with a total length of about 900 meters. Once on these lands was built a wooden fortress, with the construction which, in essence, the foundations of the entire city. Dmitrov got its name in honor of the heir to Prince Yuri Dolgoruky – the founder of this, on those days, feudal settlement, the most developed sphere of life which was trade. Now the Kremlin was given the status of state Museum-reserve, and is a whole Museum complex, with many ancient buildings, the ancient Dormition Cathedral and the building of the Museum and exhibition complex – multiplex Dmitrov Museum nearby. Another outstanding monument is Dmitrov Borisoglebskiy monastery, named in honor of the ancient princes, priravnennykh canonized after his death. Among other religious buildings of the city are also interesting Church of Kazan and St. Nicholas Peshnoshsky monastery, Spaso-Vlakhernsky monastery and Church of the Sretensky Prison and the Elizabethan Church, the Church of Introduction in temple Presvjatoj of the virgin, the Church of the Vernicle, the Tikhvin Church and chapel of Alexander Nevsky. In Dmitrov to our days preserved many old houses and estates, covering the era of wooden and stone buildings of the city. The town also has a large variety of cultural and educational institutions – drama theatre and model theatre, children's theatre-Studio, club, Museum, Park of culture and leisure of birch grove. Complement urban ensemble wide area historic city, modern sculptures, stelae, unique fountains and monuments dedicated to outstanding figures, who at different times was linked to Dmitrov. As well as many interesting and unique objects such as "Bridge of happiness", "Stone of desires", "Ikshinskoe reservoir", where I love to walk the citizens and guests of the city. Also in Dmitrov pays great attention to sports. Work here the ice Palace, the stadium hosts the annual international competition of hot air balloons.
