The Alta Badia resort is located next to the Dolomites, in northern Italy. For vacationers, first-class service and a full range of services for winter recreation and leisure are provided here.
The total length of the Alta-Badia trails is 130 km. Convenient high-speed lifts lead to the peaks, of which there are 53 in the resort. For beginners, the blue slopes are suitable, the length of which is 70 km. Experienced skiers and snowboarders are offered red runs with a total length of 52 km. Professional athletes can ski on black slopes, which are 8 km long.
The resort complex includes several villages, connected by lifts and corresponding to different ski areas. The most mountainous village is located at an altitude of 1654 m above sea level and is called Kolfosko. Slightly lower is Corvara (1568 m). Next - San Cassiano (1537 m). Next is La Villa, located at an altitude of 1433 m. The lowest, Badia, is at a level of 1324 m.
These villages have trails designed for guests of all ages and experiences. The cost of the ski pass, which applies to all slopes and lifts, depends on the duration of the holiday, the season and the age of the guest. Pricing ranges from € 34 for a day stay after 12 noon in low season to € 727 for 21 days off during peak tourist season.
The resort begins operations at the end of November. Skating here is possible until the end of March. Access to lifts and slopes opens at 8:30 and closes at 16:00.
On the territory of Alta Badia, there is a huge number of hotels, which are located in the villages listed above, in the immediate vicinity of the ski slopes. The premises are furnished in South Tyrolean as well as Nordic styles. The predominance of wood, beautiful textiles, fireplaces and stunning views from the windows - all this awaits the guests of the resort.
Also in Alta Badia there is a huge selection of restaurants, cafes and pizzerias. Here you can taste a variety of dishes, from Ladin cuisine to traditional fast food. In mountain shelters, you can taste local delicacies, enjoy live music and the wonderful atmosphere of a winter fairytale. It is believed that the concentration of catering establishments per square meter is the highest in all of Italy.
