Russian Switzerland. In addition to ski resorts, there are thermal springs of radon water in Belokurikha, next to which sanatoriums are built. By the way, the city owes its name to this natural phenomenon. People gave these places such a name because white steam went (smoked) here from the ground in the winter months. Local springs have been used for treatment since the 19th century. Radon water is able to treat diseases of the respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrine systems, as well as the digestive tract and skin. Wells with radon water are hidden in small gazebos. But there is no way to freely get to the sources because of their low radioactivity. Water can only be consumed for medical reasons.

Also in the local sanatoriums offer radon baths. But you need to take them in courses of 5-14 days. The cost of such treatment is up to 60 thousand rubles. The tourist part of Belokurikha also attracts travelers. There are landscaped green areas, well-groomed lawns and paths, as well as a large number of cafes and souvenir shops.
