At the same time, sometimes there are situations with the cancellation or postponement of some flights. Passengers are forced to return or change their tickets purchased in advance. What is the right thing to do in a particular case? News and advice from Aeroflot - below by text.

After a long closure of borders, the interruption of air traffic with other countries, there was information about the resumption of regular flights by Aeroflot. Turkey, Tanzania and Great Britain appeared in the schedule.

But soon, for various reasons, some flights to certain countries were cancelled. Immediately on the 1st day, those who had tickets on hand received information messages from the Russian carrier with sad news. Flights have been cancelled again. The natural reaction of failed passengers results in two main questions:

What are the opportunities for a refund;

- when will the situation in the spheres of health and international relations be established and the delayed flights will take place?

Aeroflot's official website constantly provides updates on the phasing out of international air traffic. This, in turn, makes changes to the schedule of departures and arrivals of airliners.

For passengers who have had flight cancellations, Aeroflot reports the following:

- within a maximum of 10 days of the initial departure date, the replacement for a flight of the same route. No exchange surcharges are required if the service class and simultaneous replacement of return tickets remain the same;

- Without a limit on departure/return dates on any other routes, a surcharge is made only if the difference in cost changes. The very fact of change is made without additional payments.

In the event of a passenger's decision to refuse to postpone the date and other changes to the ticket purchased earlier, the return of the ticket is allowed in accordance with the additional conditions. They are posted on Aeroflot's official website.
