Guests of the Romanian castle of Dracula will receive free vaccinations against coronavirus
An unusual event was invented by the leadership of the castle, located in the Romanian part of the Carpathian Mountains (Transylvania). In order to attract visitors, the administration launched a procedure under the symbolic name "Second Bite", within which the visitors of the castle will be vaccinated against the coronavirus. At the same time, guests do not have to buy an excursion to the castle itself, and everyone who is vaccinated will receive a certificate.
It is noteworthy that the nurses who will give injections will be dressed in themed outfits with stickers and white fangs.
The castle administration also emphasizes the safety of guests, encouraging the use of antiseptics or gloves, wear masks and maintain social distance.
Dracula's Castle is a medieval building that appeared in the Carpathians at the end of the XIV century according to a project that appeared shortly after the release of the novel of the same name by Bram Stoker. Interestingly, the Irishman has never visited this part of Romania, and his hero is just a fiction.
Vaccinations at Bran Castle will take place until the end of this month, in the afternoon on Fridays and from morning to evening on Saturdays and Sundays.
According to statistics, about 12% of the population in Romania is currently vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 1 million cases of infection have been recorded here. Almost 29 thousand cases were unable to cope with the virus.
