Live webcam is installed in the city of Pavlovsk, on Sadovaya Street 41. Pavlovsk is a city, an intracity municipal formation within the Pushkin district of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia.
Pavlovsk is the third largest pearl in the necklace of the palace and park ensembles of St. Petersburg. The undisputed leader is Peterhof with its unique and magnificent fountains that have left Versailles far behind, followed by the city of Pushkin with its palace and park ensemble, the Pushkin Lyceum and the Amber Room. Peterhof and Pushkin are very popular with tourists, all who come to St. Petersburg for more than 3 days strive to see Peterhof and Pushkin, but rare guests of our city get to Pavlovsk.
A trip to Pavlovsk promises a break from the frantic rhythm of a huge metropolis, silence, peace, almost solitude. Communication with squirrels and titmouses will make your trip even more pleasant. You will see an Italian villa among Russian forests and meadows. The Pavlovsk Palace houses numerous objects of Western European art. Among them are several marble statues found during excavations in Pompeii, a painting by Rubens, "Wonderful Cupid Shooting Right in the Heart" and many others.
Pushkin and Pavlovsk are located very close. But on my own in one day, I would not recommend visiting both palace and park complexes, because each of them is simply huge. If you want to cover both suburbs in one trip, it is better to take an organized excursion Pavlovsk + Pushkin + Gatchina. If you are taken by bus, you will have time to look at Pushkin, and Pavlovsk, and Gatchina, but the program will be very eventful. Locals shouldn't be in such a hurry.
In addition to these main objects, a large number of temporary and permanent exhibitions are held in parks and palaces. Therefore, you can go to Pavlovsk many times and each time you will find something new for yourself there.
