Continuing the military theme, it is worth mentioning the open-air memorial. It is called "Small Land" and is located in the Sudzhuk-Kale region, which is considered the southern region of Novorossiysk.

The architectural ensemble is dedicated to the battles that took place here in 1943. In addition, in memory of these days, 225 poplars were planted on the territory belonging to the memorial - that is how many days the bloody battles continued.
Another memorial erected as a reminder of the fierce battles of 1942-1943 is the Defense Line. The most famous part of it is "The Shot Wagon". It looks really monumental and impressive. This building is located on the Sukhumi highway.
