The web camera broadcasts the Eagles' Bridge online - the bridge got its name because of the bronze eagles statues, which are located on columns on four sides. These noble birds symbolize the protection and patronage of the city.

The Orlov Bridge is one of the most significant and lively in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia. It got its name thanks to bronze statues of eagles on the bridge, symbolizing patronage and protection. Located next to the Vasil Levski National Stadium, close to Central Park and the Soviet Army Monument. The Eagle Bridge was built two years after the construction of the Lviv Bridge, in 1891. Architects Adolf Vaclav Kolar and Vaclav Proshek worked on his project. The metal parts of the bridge were designed and supplied by the famous Viennese firm Rudolf Philippe Wagner and Biro, whose exquisite products can also be seen on the decorations of the vasili Levski monument and the Central Park fence.

The Eagle Bridge is significant not only as a crossroads of traffic flows of Sofia, but also has an important social purpose. After the democratic transformations of 1989, Orlov Bridge became a favorite place for various protests, such as the millionth rally of the Union of Democratic Forces on June 7,1990, the environmental protection event in 2012 "Occupy the Eagles Bridge", protests against poverty and price increases in 2013.
