Rimini's beach is famous for its long stretch of soft sand. The coastline, washed by the Adriatic Sea, starts from Federico Fellini Park and runs along the water area for many kilometers. The city's oldest landmarks include the Municipal Palace, which was built at the end of the 16th century. After the Victory over Nazi Germany, the palace underwent a thorough reconstruction, but to this day it remains closed to the public. It is adjoined by the Gothic castle of the Podestà, built in the 14th century. However, this building can only be viewed from the outside.
In the heart of Rimini is the Piazza Tre Martyri (Square of the Three Martyrs). The most significant objects of the city border with it. It is also recommended to visit another square, which is located near the Municipal Museum of Rimini. It is called Cavour and is famous for its markets as well as stunning architecture. Near the square there is the town hall and the amazingly beautiful Galli theater. The center of the square is decorated with an ancient colonnade. There is also a large number of catering establishments offering exquisite dishes made in the best traditions of Italian cuisine.
