Cozy Dagomys, whose webcams allow you to walk along the streets of the village in real time, is located on the Black Sea coast in the Krasnodar Territory.
There is no such fuss as in Sochi, although there are no less natural and architectural attractions.
So, at the mouth of the river of the same name there is a real subtropical forest. The corresponding species of trees and plants grow here, which also envelop the rocks. Local botanists claim that in the clearings you can see about 6 thousand varieties of flowers, 120 species of shrubs and trees. Such vegetation appeared here due to the mild climate. If you look to the north, you can see the majestic mountain slopes, on which vineyards and tea plantations are located. There are also peach orchards nearby. In general, it creates a picturesque and sometimes unique landscape.
Another beautiful natural attraction of Dagomys, whose webcams are available online on the site, is a boxwood waterfall.
The mountain river descends along the rocks and forms many descending water streams. Some pass through boxwood forests, so they got the appropriate names. The height of the waterfalls reaches five meters. It's easy to get to them. A simple dirt road leads from the village. Throughout the journey, nature will truly fascinate. The feeling that you are in a fabulous place does not leave.
The next well-visible and well-known place in the village is Mount Uspensky. In fact, it is difficult to call it a "mountain", because. the height is only 150 m. At the same time, the locals call this hill that way. The second part of the name appeared thanks to the legend of the Cossack Yegor Uspensky, who was seriously wounded here during the Russian-Turkish war. Before his death, he asked his colleagues to make a coffin with a window and place it on the mountain, turning towards the enemy. They did just that. At the same time, going down, the Cossacks heard Uspensky's cry about the approach of the enemy. This helped them repulse several attacks. When they won, Yegor Uspensky was buried at the top of the mountain. Now this triangular hill, which is very reminiscent of an ancient burial mound, is completely covered with plants. From its top you can see the sea and Dagomys. Webcams make it possible to see picturesque landscapes in real time.
