The webcam online broadcasts a breathtaking panorama of the sea and the coast adjacent to it from the side of the Chaika hotel in the village of Utes (Alushta).
The lens covers the black sea, whose waves break on giant boulders. On the left you can see the picturesque territory of the village, immersed in evergreen and exotic vegetation. The broadcast is transmitted in real time.
Utes, whose webcams can be viewed online on this site, is a tiny Crimean town that has gained popularity among tourists relatively recently.
The highlight of this place is its remoteness from noisy resorts and big cities. There is no huge amount of night entertainment, so you can relax not only physically, but also spiritually. Contributes to a calm and secluded holiday and beautiful nature. The coast of Utes is washed by the azure water of the Black Sea. And on the other side, the majestic Crimean mountains, covered with green forest, hang over it.
Back in the 19th century, the village was named Kuchuk-Lambad. Here was the cottage of Princess Gagarina. In those days, about 11 thousand citizens lived on the territory of modern Utes. By the way, now on the site of the princely possessions there is a building of the sanatorium complex of the same name, which occupies most of the resort.
One of the most famous monuments that are protected as a cultural value is the Gagarins' house church.
It was designed by Nikolai Krasnov, whose work was distinguished by its magnificence and originality. Among the brilliant projects of the architect was the Livadia Palace, built on the outskirts of Yalta.
The princess's mansion itself has also been preserved in Utes, which is distinguished by its special splendor and even mysticism. Next to this building is a monument to the wife of the murdered Prince Gagarin.
Raevsky's mansion, which rises a little further from the coast, has an unusual shape. The object has a unique history and architectural appearance, which has features of Moorish and Oriental architecture.
The building was erected in the second half of the 19th century. It is decorated with exquisite columns, stucco and stained glass windows. According to an old legend, the Raevskys, despite their wealth, were unhappy, because they could not have children in any way. But during the construction of the mansion, the spouses learned that stone from a destroyed Orthodox church was used to build its walls. As soon as this became known, Raevsky immured a bas-relief of St. Mary, which he brought from Italy, into the wall. And very soon the princess gave birth to a healthy baby.
After the October Revolution, the village received its new name - Cozy.
But in the second half of the last century, he was given a name that has remained with him to this day. A little later, the territory of the neighboring village of Skazka was attached to the Utes. Already in our century, the cliff became part of the Malomayaksky rural settlement.
