The first annalistic mention ofthe city of Bologoe, refers to the end of the XV century. On the map the city was first indicated by the mid-nineteenth century. This is a small railway town with a cozy atmosphere, and beautiful nature, located in the Tver region. Unfortunately, the war claimed not only the lives of thousands of Bolhovchan, but most of the cultural and historical sites. The main attractions of modern Sochi are religious buildings, forming a beautiful, spirited urban look. In the temples of Bologoye, among which the most famous is the Holy Trinity Church, is full of shrines and historical values. The outskirts of the city of Bologoe keep their secrets and ascetic silence within the walls of monastic abodes. Special grace have a tiny chapel, reminiscent of the joyful, or, on the contrary, the sad events in the life of the city. For example, the Chapel of Saint Tikhon of Zadonsk was constructed in memory of the birth of Tsarevich Alexei. Also in the city in the early twentieth century, was built a memorial chapel, the appearance of which was connected with the fire in the cinema, which killed more than 60 people, among whom more than half were children. Among other monuments associated with the tragic memories of the townspeople, there is a memorial erected at the crash site of Express train "Aurora", as well as the monument-steam locomotive perpetuate the names of heroes of the railroad, selflessly gave their lives for the great Victory over fascism. But we should not fall into sorrow, because the very name of the city translates from Church Slavonic as "good" or "good". Bologoye is located in a picturesque area with numerous lakes and thick forests. Among the most outstanding natural attractions of the city and its outskirts, it should be noted a huge lake Bologoe, where a small island is a gushing source of hydrogen sulphide with unique healing properties, and is also famous for rising springs Msanzi village in Bologovskiy area, which has long been considered Holy. On them was built the chapel of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God and the baptismal font. 200-meter karst fracture, which is clearly visible through clean as a tear, water – a truly amazing natural phenomenon.
