Ultimately, the temple, or rather its ruins, disappeared under the waters of the Novosibirsk reservoir, which flooded the historical center.
The parish was restored in 1989, and in 2005 the prison church was completely rebuilt. The modern building is made entirely of wood. The temple is crowned with a hipped roof made of green tiles with a gilded dome, which echoes the top of the bell tower.
The most modern religious building is the Church of the Epiphany of the Lord. It is built in a strict but elegant style and is somewhat reminiscent of the previous temple. The structure is also made of wood and topped with a hipped dome. It was built in honor of the 300th anniversary of the city in 2017. The first stone was laid by Metropolitan Tikhon of Novosibirsk in 2014, who later consecrated the church.
Among other religious sites in Berdsk, it is worth noting the Chapel of St. George the Victorious, built in 2005 near the Berdsk Cossack Cadet Corps. In honor of this saint, a parish is also named in Berdsk, which has become one of the cultural venues of the city, on the basis of which various events are held.
