Kiev Ukraineit is the capital of the Ukrainian state emerging from the great a few centuries of history, passing through the prosperity and warriors. Independence Nadleznosti, or simply in people, the Maidan, which means square is in the centre of the city, built as a symbol of freedom and independence. In fact, only a few dozen years, the country enjoying independence, so to speak, and thus was founded the Maidan. In the 30s of the XVIII century were demolished the defensive wall, then place and was like a square, and was called khreshchatytska street, by street name. During the period of formation of the Communists, the lot area of a multiple reconstructed, in 77 year of the square was a monument to Lenin, and had the name of the area of the October revolution. In 2001, it was decided to reconstruct the area after that Maidan as we can see it from our web camera, added buildings and monuments. At this point there were protests and 2000, and the Orange revolution of 2004.
